7th TRAIL Research Camp (TReC) - August 24th - September 4th, 2026

This year, TRAIL – Trusted AI Labs is proud to collaborate with the University of Lausanne (UNIL) and AI@UNIL to bring together researchers from STEM and Social Sciences & Humanities (SSH) around interdisciplinary AI projects with real-world impact.
TReC is much more than a workshop or a summer school : It is an intensive, collaborative and international Research Programme where participants work together on concrete AI challenges, reusable AI components, prototypes, benchmarks and new research collaborations.
Who can participate ?
🔺 PhD students and postdoctoral researchers
🔺 Researchers from partner institutions including TRAIL, UNIL and CIVIS
🔺 Master students and non-academic participants (subject to availability)
Participants are required to attend at least one full week of the Research Camp

You are welcome to register even if you are not available for the full two weeks. Participants are required to attend at least one full week of the Research Camp.
